My name is Atif Hussain and I am currently teaching ICT and Business Studies at the New Cairo British International School. This is my fifth year teaching since gaining my Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from Yorkshire. With my teaching I have brought with me over six years of industry experience as an IT analyst & consultant.

I enrolled on a Post-Graduate Certificate (PGC) in ‘Advanced Educational Practice: Leadership and Management in Independent Schools’ with Anderson Millard Consulting (AMC) which is taught at the Oxford Brookes University.

Improvement has to be inward first, and that always starts with a question. It all starts with a question. As part of my single project, my Action Research Project (ARP) was to answer the question ‘How can I improve the learning of my pupils in ICT?’. I have since gained a PGC in leadership and management where e-learning has been my focus. I am to continue and complete a Masters in ICT and Education.
